Instructions


Step 1: Prepare the Sugar Syrup


In a large pan, combine sugar and water. Stir well and heat the mixture over medium heat until the sugar dissolves.


Add the crushed cardamom pods and saffron strands. Let it simmer for 5-7 minutes.


Turn off the heat and add rose water for a fragrant touch. Keep the syrup warm.


Step 2: Make the Dough


In a mixing bowl, combine milk powder, all-purpose flour, and baking soda.


Add ghee and mix until the mixture resembles breadcrumbs.


Gradually add milk, a tablespoon at a time, and knead gently to form a smooth, soft dough. Avoid over-kneading.


Cover the dough and let it rest for 10 minutes.
